Hot Stone massage uses a combination of warm stones and the therapist's hands. It can be considered a relaxation, deep tissue or a combination of both. The stones are used to warm up the muscles and increase the blood flow to them; then I will use my hands to manipulate the muscles easing tension and relaxing the body. Everyone's pain threshold and heat sensitivity is different so always let me know if the pressure is too much or not enough, or if the stones are too hot.
